DATOS DE INTERÉS: La serie de televisión sobre Capitán América de 1944 fue la primera adaptación del personaje de Marvel Comics (que por aquel entonces se llamaba Timely Publications) a la pantalla. Rodada en blanco y negro, contó con Lionel Atlwill como villano. Se dividió en 15 capítulos que obvian el origen del Capitán América, tal y como lo conocemos por los cómics, para desarrollar un guión televisivo sostenible.

DATOS DE INTERÉS: Espionaje, guerra, islas paradisiacas, zombies, nazis y un científico loco. Comedia de terror al estilo de las que Bela Lugosi protagonizó para Monogram, de hecho el propio Lugosi iba a interpretar al villano pero la falta de acuerdo llevó a Henry Victor al papel.
